Intro to Collage – Scissors Collage – In person Workshop by Carly Mul

This workshop is to introduce students to color collage. It’s an entry level collage class, great for every level. Many students in the class have expressed that this class has changed the way they look at fabrics and color. It has a lot of detail and is at the same time very free and creative. It’s about finding flows in color, going from dark to light so that in the end it looks like it is a unity, In 3 hours students probably won’t finish the scissors but have learned the skills to do this at home.. Most students are getting about halfway, some further, some less.

Students are being asked to bring their own fabric in their personal choice of colors..  Each student will purchase the basic kit from the teacher for $17.50 (includes pattern, Lite Steam a Seam 2 and Pattern ease).  If you’d like to purchase the optional fabric kit from the teacher for $28 (instead of bringing your own fabrics), please contact Carly at the email address in the material list above no later than Feb 8, with your color selection.  She will bring the kits to the workshop.
