Flying Frankies! Outline Flying Geese Using Accordion Sewn HSTs

In Person Workshop:  Tuesday May 13  9am – 12 noon  (Lyle Buck Hall)

What is a Flying Frankie?  While it started as an autocorrect of “Flying Geese” the silly name quickly stuck as a description of scrappy outlined flying geese made using my Accordion Sewn HSTs method and some contrasting piping – which is sewn right into the accordion!  In class we will learn how to make these cool and eye catching elements, and create two blocks; once you’ve mastered the technique you’ll want to add them to all sorts of projects!
