A two day class by Aniko Feher

Saturday January 27 and Saturday February 17

10am – 4:30pm each day

In this step by step class, students will learn how to turn a favorite photo into a treasured quilt. Everyone will work from their own photo. 

On the first day of class, a pattern will be made out of an enlarged photo.  On the second day, everyone learns how to turn their pattern into a raw edge applique quilt. Each student will work at their own comfortable pace and still go home with a nearly finished project.  

The individual project can be a portrait of a person, a pet, a landscape, a still life  or something architectural.  Aniko will review the photo to be used by each student before class starts to make sure that the chosen photo is suitable for this learning experience. 

Students learn from watching multiple demonstrations on how to handle various facial features and elements of the photos.  These demos will help everyone learn how to handle not just their own project but different projects as well.
